As an Accredited Practising Dietitian (APD) with the Dietitians Association of Australia I can provide the following services:
Dietetic Consultations
Dietetic consultations provide the opportunity to understand your individual nutrition needs and explore with you ways to acheive them. This might include:
- Nutrition assessment
- Providing information
- Coaching and problem solving to support you in making change.
Dietitian appointments are available in the community, at your home or by Telehealth.
Appointment lengths depend on need however typically initial appointments are 1-1.5 hours, with follow-up appointments 0.5-1 hour.
Accredited Practising Dietitians are the only registered provider for Dietetic supports under the National Disability Insurance Service (NDIS) or Medicare.
Nutrition Training
Training tailored to suit your team on nutrition in the community. I can deliver training in-person or online on tube feeding, feeding challenges and healthy eating.
Report Writing
I am experienced in writing reports to request initial and ongoing funding for NDIS participants to access Improved Daily Living, Healthy and Wellbeing and Core-Consumable funds.
Fees
Fees are $176/hour, including GST if applicable.
You will be invoiced for appointments, travel to your location (one-way) and any additional requirements, such as documenting tube-feeding plans or report writing.
Help with dietitian costs may be available if you have one of the following:
- National Disability Insurance Service (NDIS) plans that are self-managed or Plan-managed for Nutrition Supports
- Private health funds, with extra’s coverage that includes dietetics
- Medicare Chronic Disease Management Plan
